This weeks app is Doodle Jump. Doodle Jump is a game where you jump from platform to platform, trying to get as high as you can, while avoiding obstacles
such as black holes, UFOs and monsters. It’s actually a lot more fun than it sounds. It gets VERY addicting. You can get “power-ups” or “boosts” such as jet packs, springs that boost your jump, helicopter hats, trampolines or the newest one, spring shoes. The spring shoes are like the springs, but they stay with you for 5 jumps. Currently, the high score for this game is 1,311,248. My high score is only 51,445. I could spend all day trying to beat that score, but it gets frustrating after a while. Another great feature is that you can see all of your stats and scores, and the high scores daily, weekly or of all time. You can also connect it to Facebook and see your friends scores. Doodle Jump has also connected with two other games, Pocket God (featured in App Of The Week #1) , and The Creeps!. Characters from both of these apps have made appearances in Doodle Jump, and the Doodler has been in them. You can see screenshots of all of the games below. In Pocket God, the Doodler tries to shoot you as you do the Ooga Jump. I don’t have The Creeps! yet, but I will try it soon to see what the Doodler does. In Doodle Jump, the Creeps replace the monsters that kill you if you touch them while you are jumping. You can activate this feature by entering your name as “creeps”. If you enter your name as any of the pygmies from PG, you can jump as one! Like I said about Pocket God, this app is a must buy!

I went to the Padres game today, and everything was fine. I got to see my first game from a ballpark suite, and being in Pectco Park, you know it had to be nice. There was all sorts of food, The balcony on suite 18, right above 3rd base had an amazing view, and it was an overall great experience. But, while I was up there, the Pads were down on the field getting their asses kicked. So, my question to you is, is it worth having a great new stadium (Petco is now 5 years old (2004 opening year)) and having a losing baseball team OR is it better to have a winning baseball team and a bad park? I like having the 3rd newest stadium in the Major Leagues, but I just can’t stand having the freakin Padres the way they are right now in there. My solution: give the Chargers Petco! Just kidding. But seriously, the Bolts deserve a brand new stadium.

Well hey everybody. It’s The Jeary here helping out Bandew. So as you all know from his previous posts Bandew is doing 31 posts in 31 days as a way of participating in National Blog Posting Month, (NaBloPoMo). So he has to do so many posts he asked me if I would like to help him out in putting up some posts, and I was so happy to be writing a post for somebody so powerful with his site. This weekend is the Nike Crusaders Cup, and for all of you who don’t know, this is a soccer tournament which is going to be played in La Jolla this year. My team, Hotspurs , is going to playing in it. Let’s hope my team can win. The Jeary is on my team, and is probably going to be writing a post about this too. Happy 4th of July everybody!!! Over the last week I have been thinking of what I’m going to be doing my next post on and I came up with a pretty good one that I can do monthly. So I think I will tell you. I am going to be doing a new post on the 1st Monday of every month on how many views I have gotten from the last month. So as you all know I haven’t had my site for a whole month but I can still do a post on my stats. So last month I started my website on the 24th of June and it is the 4th of July. On the 26th my views went giant for only being open for 2 days. On the 26th I had a total of 21 views with only 2 posts. Then my views just dropped to 4 and back up to 12 on the 28th. Bandew444 really was surprised with how many views I got considering he only had maybe half the amount I had already in views for the first week of my website. As I thought would happen my views went down again to 4 up to 6 on the 30th and then down to zero, the 1st thru the 3rd of July. But today my views went back up to 5 and I hope that they will not go down to zero for another week. I have a total of 6 posts, 6 comments, and 60 views altogether. I am hoping to have a total of 130 views by the end of the month. Please keep the views coming and tell your friends of my website and if they have a youtube to subscribe to me. It’s not easy to do this, it’s not just type and click, type and click (maybe for The Jeary it is). But for me it’s a whole different story. I use all the basic stuff WordPress lets us use, I’m not a WordPress VIP like CNN or People, and I don’t always pull out great numbers for views per day, and my VPD is definitely not on the same scale as those premium VIP sites. I’ll get on average 22 or 23 views a day, and some days I’ll pull of anywhere from 40 to 100. I’d say that is pretty good for a site that has as much advertising as mine. I think that over the year that Bandew444′s has been around… well, all I can say is it’s definitely better than it was for the first 8 months (March – October ’08). If you would like to see anything in a post, and I used to put this in EVERY post for those first 8 months (there was about 5), just leave a comment. No one ever does, the last one I saw was on the Michael Jackson post. I constantly check my stats, which aren’t that good until later in the day. I can’t wait until my views every day get up to just the right number so I can consider my site a very popular one. I don’t plan on that happening anytime soon, I still have a lot of work to do. Even if I ever do get there, I don’t plan on signing up for a VIP blog. I saw that it costs $600! Ok, enough about my site’s views. What about The Jeary? It got all the views my blog had in it’s first 8 months in ONE DAY. That’s probably all of The Jeary’s friends, though. I haven’t gotten any trafficking from there, and I thought I would get all sorts of views. I get more views from my YouTube for Bandew444′s. Lame. On The Jeary’s second day, he got ten more views than Bandew444′s, and I got kind of jealous. But now, I feel sorry for him. It looks like he puts a ton of effort into those posts, but gets NO views at all! He hasn’t gotten any for the past 3 or 4 days. I just don’t think that it’s fair. Maybe it is, and I’m just over reacting. I have to remember this is his first month. Right now it’s getting late, and I’m not sure I can write or complain or what ever you want to call this much more. I might do a part two or something. So if you are still reading this, congratulations you made it to the end. We’ll see what the future holds for Bandew444′s.
